You know what's expensive? Getting a new furnace/AC unit for the house! yeah, i finally got that taken care of, at least from the planning perspective. It doesn't get installed until next week. Matt will be happy since he finally will have a vent running into his room in the basement, so this way he'll at least have more heat in the room than what his body puts off (which is an impressive amount for those of you who don't know Matt). In fact, he may die due to too much heat in that room, but that remains to be seen.
IU - tell me none of you were fooled when they were up 20pts in the first half against Michigan? Andy and I were still saying they'd lose, even w/ 6 minutes left being up 12. Although, I'm definitely a little worried about the 0-16 claim. They play at Illinois today, so I doubt it happens on the road.
I wish I had something funny to share, but nothing too exciting really happened to me this week. The firm is getting me a new phone next week....that was a pretty funny situation as I sat in my IT director's office and was able to show him first hand that my text messages don't go through to some people. Scott did a great job of selling this for me on the phone as I called him, put him on speaker phone, and had him tell my IT director that he didn't get my texts and I needed a new phone! thanks buddy, it worked!
NFL playoffs continue today. I went 2-2 in my betting last week...looking to go 4-0 this week (obviously). The lines are tough this week though, so we'll see, but I am fairly confident in Tennessee being able to cover the 3pt spread they are giving the Ravens. As far as my other picks, I think all the home teams will win this weekend, but I may bet on the Cardinals to cover since they are 10-pt dogs.
