New Years Goals

I don't like the word resolution....the other 364 days a year they are called goals, so why change it for one day?

Anyway, I have made two "New Years" goals for 2009. Some of you may be asking, what are they? Others may be thinking, wow, is he actually going to get a serious girlfriend? Well, I'll work on the g/f part, but no, that wasn't one of the goals.

Goal #1 - Start drinking scotch/whiskey

I know, some may see this as an easy goal to achieve, but they are my goals and I can do what I want. Others are saying, wow, way to really step out on a limb w/ that one....however, i feel this will increase my sophistication as well as overall bad-assness.

Goal #2 - Keep this blog updated at least once a week for all of 2009.

Today is January 2nd, which too me basically means one of the last few days before I slip into my 3-month coma a.k.a. "tax season." It's also a day before my beloved Hoosiers b-ball team begins it's quest to go 0-16 in Big Ten for the first time in school history (disclaimer: may or may not be true, I'm too lazy to look it up). I'm sure I'll have a few awesome posts about IU's team this year as well as my life during tax season over the next few months.

Goal #2A - Have someone actually check my blog for updates who's last name isn't "Frahm, Heitkamp, or Cook"

Alright, I have the day off and $20 Kohl's cash that I got for spending over $100 there for my X-mas shopping, so now i'm gonna go reward myself w/ a bitchin new shirt or package of socks. I'm out....

Let's Be Careful Out There

  1. This will certainly be entertaining and another way to spend my time when I should be doing other things. Thanks for yet one more distraction.

Dude - drinking scotch as a "goal" in life. Wow. That's all I can say.

I like the "Day In History" feature. Nice Touch.

Now we just need to get Tad to start a blog. His thoughts would certainly be worth a few laughs too. I meant that in a good way, of course.

    Later!
